Eye of the storm

I decided the name of this bead should be RED TORNADO , and then with the opitical silver glass dot there, it seemed even more appropriate.
Showing both sides of the bead. The second picture shows the whirling winds and the eye of the storm in the middle. (The colours are truer in the second picture).

Dichroic and silver glass combos

Dichroic and silver rich glass. A match made in heaven, sometimes in hell. These were the ones that turned out ok. The silver glass is in the murrini (those little flower/anenome like pieces in the beads).

This last one gets its wispy, ethereal look from the silver glass that has been twisted with another glass, before being applied to the core of the bead, and then encased in clear glass to optimise the effect.

Did you notice the background am using for these photos?
Yes, its my hand. Still struggling to get that lovely professional look, so I'll use what seems to work best for me at the moment.

The ones that got away.

Ok, I'm still on a bead making kick for the children, and have been making little fishies. Here they are.

How much?

Wow, a huge thank you to all my friends and colleagues who sponsored me to make beads for the Be Child Cancer Aware charity.

Your generosity raised   -   £250.00

Thank you very much for supporting me in this endeavour.   XXX
